Capz uses credits to process videos for subtitle generation. Subscription plans include a monthly credit allowance, billed through Stripe. This policy outlines refunds and billing disputes.

Credit System

  • Credits are the primary currency for using Capz services
  • Credits are deducted when you process a video
  • Subscription plans reset your credit balance to your plan allowance each billing cycle when payment succeeds
  • Credit costs are clearly displayed before processing

Subscriptions and refunds

  • Subscription fees are billed monthly through Stripe unless you cancel before renewal
  • Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion for qualifying billing errors
  • You may cancel your subscription from the Stripe customer portal linked from your billing page

Exceptions

We may consider refunds or account credits only in these rare cases:

  • Technical failure preventing credit usage
  • Duplicate charges due to Stripe payment processing errors
  • Legal requirements in your jurisdiction

Failed Transactions

  • If video processing fails due to our system error, credits will be returned to your account
  • If processing fails due to user error (invalid file, etc.), credits are considered used

Credit balance

  • Credits from subscription plans refresh to your plan allowance each successful billing cycle
  • Credits cannot be transferred between accounts
  • Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money

Usage Transparency

  • Credit costs are clearly displayed before processing
  • You can view your credit balance at any time
  • Transaction history is available in your dashboard
