Overview
Capz uses credits to process videos for subtitle generation. Subscription plans include a monthly credit allowance, billed through Stripe. This policy outlines refunds and billing disputes.
Credit System
- Credits are the primary currency for using Capz services
- Credits are deducted when you process a video
- Subscription plans reset your credit balance to your plan allowance each billing cycle when payment succeeds
- Credit costs are clearly displayed before processing
Subscriptions and refunds
- Subscription fees are billed monthly through Stripe unless you cancel before renewal
- Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion for qualifying billing errors
- You may cancel your subscription from the Stripe customer portal linked from your billing page
Exceptions
We may consider refunds or account credits only in these rare cases:
- Technical failure preventing credit usage
- Duplicate charges due to Stripe payment processing errors
- Legal requirements in your jurisdiction
Failed Transactions
- If video processing fails due to our system error, credits will be returned to your account
- If processing fails due to user error (invalid file, etc.), credits are considered used
Credit balance
- Credits from subscription plans refresh to your plan allowance each successful billing cycle
- Credits cannot be transferred between accounts
- Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money
Usage Transparency
- Credit costs are clearly displayed before processing
- You can view your credit balance at any time
- Transaction history is available in your dashboard
